Clarity.
Support. Compassion.
Tim and Frances Archer have lived in Spokane since 2000. They serve as the Inland Northwest coordinators for Retrouvaille, an international ministry supporting couples in crisis and working to rebuild their marriages. Having been married for over 30 years, they raised two sons while living in Germany, Georgia, and Washington—experiences that shaped their understanding of family life under pressure and transition.
As business partners and leaders of Spokane Family Guidance Services, they bring both professional expertise and lived experience to their work. Together, they believe that modeling stability, commitment, and respectful partnership is an important part of helping families in high-conflict situations move toward healthier outcomes.

Clinical Director, Spokane Family Guidance Services
Frances is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Child Mental Health Specialist with extensive experience working with high-conflict families and trauma-impacted systems. She is currently pursuing credentialing with the National Board of Forensic Evaluators.
As Clinical Director of SFGS, Frances oversees all clinical services, ensuring a focus on child safety, healthy attachment, and long-term family stability. She is leading efforts to obtain Domestic Violence Intervention Treatment (DVIT) certification, expanding the agency’s capacity to serve court-involved families, and also practices through Renewal Spur Counseling, the agency’s parent organization.

Executive Director, Spokane Family Guidance Services
As a firefighter and first responder, Tim has worked on the front lines of family crisis, including high-conflict situations and substance-related emergencies. He also serves as a coordinator with Retrouvaille in the Inland Northwest, supporting couples in rebuilding and restoring their relationships.
Drawing on years of military leadership, Tim brings structure, steadiness, and practical guidance to his role as Executive Director of Spokane Family Guidance Services. He provides operational oversight and actively serves on multiple boards and committees, supporting initiatives focused on family stability, recovery, and community support.
